Portfolio Studio is proud to be the first West Coast chapter of The One Club, a non-profit group that promotes inventive advertising. Every year, this amazing group holds intensive four-day workshops, at multiple locations around the globe, that immerse students into the creative side of advertising.

At The One Club Creative Boot Camp, multicultural students from diverse backgrounds have the opportunity to work with the best agencies and creatives, and showcase their creative talents. Students learn about the creative process in advertising and how to create and present a campaign for a real client. They follow a real world outline -- receiving a brief, concepting ideas, creating a campaign, and pitching to a group of top industry creatives who determine the best work.

Earlier this year San Diego Portfolio Studio students participated in the Los Angeles bootcamp. They spent four days and nights, with other team members from schools throughout the nation, building ad campaigns to present to the expert judges from 72andSunny, sponsor of the LA workshop.

BSSP, Butler, Shine, Stern and Partners, a long-term partner of The One Club, is once again sponsoring the San Francisco creative workshop. 

Hosted at The Academy of Art in San Francisco, October 19-23, The One Club Creative Bootcamp is free, and open to all current students and recent graduates.
