Lauren Ventura : Senior content Writer
Lauren is a geeky content creator and marketer with 10 years of experience in copywriting, storytelling, brand-building and inbound know-how.
Lauren has, over the years, taken workshops with Hootsuite, Buzzsumo and Hubspot on topics regarding inbound content marketing, influencer social media strategies and data analysis. She has developed integrated email-social campaigns, helped use blogs to capture leads, defined internal and external style, voice and tone guides for the likes of Petco, Road Runner Sports, Competitor Group, Arctic Zero, ChicMoto.com, Digital Telepathy and many others. She's also managed editorial calendars as well as helped launch an award-winning blog (Design Matters at Digital Telepathy), create social posts driven by Buzzsumo, and used her journalism background to interview some of the brightest minds in tech.
Having founded a thriving consulting business, DoItWrite, for the last 3 years, these relationships have been fruitful as well as fulfilling for her.

Steve Leff : Freelance creative director
Steve's first introduction into advertising began in 1992 during an internship at Foot Cone & Belding. His experience at the agency eventually led him into the world of television working on the Fox Television show “Melrose Place”. During his tenure he was introduced to the mechanics of visual storytelling including how to execute and develop short form episodic narratives.
After three seasons he transitioned into theatrical advertising and story development and was hired at Regency Films to evaluate screenplays and develop plot summaries.
Later, Steve was recruited by J. Walter Thompson to work on the Ford Motor account in Detroit, building ideas across media platforms including, radio and television, print and interactive.
In 2007, Steve returned to Los Angeles and began work as a freelance copywriter, working on award-winning brands including McDonald’s, Wells Fargo, and GAP.
Steve teaches Copywriting For Diverse Media.
Austin Lane : Associate Creative Director
The i.d.e.a. Brand.
With over 10 years of experience, Austin brings a diverse approach to advertising. Having grown up in the DIY skateboard scene, he was subjected to the creative arts at a young age. Photography, painting, drawing, and filming were all early passions that eventually lead to a career in advertising. Prior to corporate advertising, he worked many in-house roles and eventually was the in-house Art Director for Transworld Surf Magazine. It was there where he fell in love with crafting stories in the lifestyle market and beyond.
After Transworld Surf, advertising kind of fell in his lap with opportunities to work
for agencies where he would art direct for brands like Victory Motorcycles, Polaris Snowmobiles, Coors brewing, Toyo Tires, Wild Turkey, Red Robin, Eddie Bauer, Qualcomm and more. In addition to his role with i.d.e.a., he acts as the
Co-Creative Director for the lifestyle brand Chrome Yellow Trading Co. out of Atlanta, GA.
His passion for art and design has lead to collaborations with brands such as DC Shoes, The North Face, Deluxe BMX, and Colorado Native Beer. His own art work has been shown in Colorado, California, and New York and he’s been recognized by The Denver Fifty, Telly’s, Addy’s, Art Director’s Club, Lurzers Archive, and AdWeek.
Austin teaches Project Expansion and Completion.
