This year, the American Advertising Awards San Diego Best of Show in the student category went to Art Director Christian Capuchino for his work on OtterBox: Protected and Unaffected campaign.
The American Advertising Awards is the US advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 professional and student entries every year. All across the country, local entrants vie to win ADDY Awards - recognition as the very best in their markets.
At the SDX hosted event, Christian was honored with three additional ADDY awards - A Silver award in graphic design for HoneyBee Bakery Logo with team member Kitsy Fuller, a Bronze award for Hoover Vacuums: Sucks for Kids, Sucks for Parents advertising campaign and a Bronze award for Wusthof Kitchen Knives Chef's Cut, Artist's Carve advertising campaign.
All American Advertising Award local Best of Show winners move on to next level competitions.
Portfolio Studio is so proud of Christian and we are thrilled that our students have won Best of Show Awards in the San Diego competition for five years running and moved to the National Level each year. It is a testament to the creativity and dedication of our students and our faculty.
Portfolio Studio is the creative hub that connects ambitious students with working industry professionals for training and portfolio building.
