At the San Diego American Advertising Awards, Brent Hannify and Kristen Sugihara took home a Silver ADDY for their Space Camp campaign, that was created to increase awareness and interest in the program.
It's a David and Goliath story really.
Two SDPS students each took home one of the 11 awards given in this international competition. Brooke Lingenfelder won Silver for Converse and Christian Capuchino won Bronze for Walking Dead.
John Wyville, the Executive Director at Leo Burnett USA judged the work. He has garnered hundreds of awards himself and his work is featured in the New York Museum of Modern Art.
Both professionals and students were able to enter and winning entries came from Canada, Germany and the US. Students from Miami Ad School and Zeppelin Universitat also won awards. Congrats!
The work from all 11 winners is both amazing and inspirational.

WHEN HIRING, EMPLOYERS ARE INTERESTED IN HOW YOU THINK. Outstanding portfolio work is essential to get noticed - but showcasing your ideation and process may get an employer to reach out. Include a great example of your process in a blog or on your website and be ready to talk it through.
